This page explains the information used to create and deliver a KindTribute kit. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to help@kindtribute.com.

What we collect

We collect the photographs and text you choose to upload, your project choices, your delivery email address, order information, and the technical records needed to operate the site. These records can include timestamps, limited request information, error logs, and payment status. Please include only information you have permission to use.

Why we use it

We use this information to save drafts, prepare your slideshow and matching files, process orders, provide access links, handle corrections and support, maintain security, and meet recordkeeping obligations. We do not use your uploaded photographs or memorial text in advertising or public examples without your separate permission.

Services that help deliver your kit

KindTribute uses hosting, private media storage, image preparation, video rendering, payment, and email providers to deliver the service. The configured production services include IONOS, Amazon Web Services, Shotstack, and Stripe. Relevant information is sent to the provider performing that task. Stripe processes card details; KindTribute does not store your full card number.

Media sent for processing may be temporarily retained by a provider. Video processing can create temporary output links. We use private storage for our finished files and time-limited download links, but cannot promise that processing creates no temporary copies.

Private access links

A saved-project or order access link acts as a key to that project. Anyone you share it with may be able to view, edit, or download the tribute. Keep the link private. When sharing the finished tribute, share the downloaded file instead.

How long files are kept

• Unpaid drafts and their uploads: up to seven days.
• Orders with a completed checkout still awaiting payment confirmation: up to 30 days from order creation while payment is pending.
• Paid source photographs, memorial text, and working assets: up to 30 days after purchase.
• Finished download files: up to 90 days after purchase.

Download and keep your own copies before access expires. Payment and order records needed for accounting, disputes, security, or legal requirements are handled separately from family media. Backup or processor copies may take longer to disappear through their normal retention processes.

Cookies and measurement

Essential cookies support your session, private project access, and security. The site may record basic funnel events, such as starting a project or reaching checkout, to understand whether the service works. We do not put advertising or session-replay tracking inside the private editor or send your memorial text and photographs to advertising platforms.

Your choices

You can remove photographs from a draft, choose what information to provide, and contact us about access, correction, or deletion. We may ask for enough information to verify the request. Some order and payment records must remain when required for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes.
